Scenographic works

Scenographic & costume research for Shakespeare's ''King Lear''
 

During five weeks, we have studied the play, made an iconography, designed the costumes and built the final model. 

We chose to place in the middle of the stage a big throne made of all sorts of jewels and debris which would moulder as the platform will go down along the play. Actors will occupy both the stage and the platform, from which they could go up and down with a ladder. 

 

The checkerboard-like platform has mostly symbolic purposes and it will go down as the plot develops, slowly destroying the throne. 

Scenographic research for ''Cabaret''

For our third year in university we had to stage Bob Fosse's movie ''Cabaret'' (1972). Together with other students we formed our scenography team and this was our first proposal :
